Chiemeka ADINDU, Calabar

All is now set for full resumption of academic activities at the University of Calabar. According to the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Florence Obi, all students are to resume on February 5, 2021 while lectures will commence on February 8, 2021.

The decision was made today during a Senate meeting held at the senate chambers of the university.

UNICAL To Announce Resumption Date Today

TNN reports that Vice Chancellor of the institution said the date was carefully chosen to give Management sufficient time to effect repairs in the hostels arising from the #EndSARS protest which was hijacked by hoodlums who vandalized some facilities at the university.

Below is the revised academic calendar of 2019/2020 academic session as approved by the senate.
