C’River State Police Command Gets New CP

The Inspector-General of Police, Musa Adamu has ordered the posting of a new Commissioner of Police to Cross River State Command. He is Sikiru Akande.
This was revealed on the official Twitter handle of the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday.
The release which was signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba highlighted that Akande was posted alongside other CP’s to man other 8 state commands and other Police formations in the country.
Rivers Community Engages Security Chiefs, Activates Safety Measures
It also revealed that the posting is immediate effect.
CP Akande is to replace the erstwhile CP Abdulkadir Jimoh who died on December 18, 2020.
