The sudden demise of the Chief Executive Officer of Premium Eagle Media Limited, Mr Dotun Oladipo, has thrown the media industry into mourning.
Oladipo, a former politics editor at Punch Newspaper, who also worked with Nigeria Tribune, Nigeria Compass and The Sun before founding Eagle Online, died at the age of 56.
He was said to have died at the hospital, after a brief illness. His demise has been described by his colleagues and mentes as shocking and heartbreaking.
Announcing his death on Eagle Online website on Wednesday, the publication noted that Oladipo was on his “usual state of health earlier in the day before suddenly taking ill at his office.”
It described his death as a “shock” to colleagues, friends and associates.
