We’ll Miss Lagbaja -Rivers CP

The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mustapha Mohammed Bala, has praised the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, describing him as a disciplined, honest, and fine gentleman.

A release by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-koko, revealed that the CP stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the GOC 6 Division Headquarters, Nigerian Army, in Port Harcourt.

While expressing his heartfelt sympathy to the GOC and the entire Nigerian Army, Bala noted that the late Army Chief would be deeply missed, describing his death as sudden and untimely.

The CP who was accompanied in the visit by his Management Team, were received by the GOC, and other high-ranking military officers.

He offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Army helmsman and strength for those grieving.

The statement noted that, “this visit demonstrates CP Bala’s commitment to building strong relationships with other security agencies in the State.

“The highlight of the visit was the signing of the condolence register by the Commissioner of Police.”
