The Rivers State police Command has announced that written examination for applicants who applied for enlistment into the Nigerian Police Force as police constables under the General Duty and Specialist cadres, will hold from 28th to 30th April, 2026.
The command said the exercise was approved by the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, Police service Commission, will be coordinated by the River State Commissioner of police, Olugbenga A. Adepoju.
The examination will take place at the Faculty of Law, Rivers state University, Port Harcourt.
According to the command, only those who passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible.
The command advised
Qualified applicants to visit police portal www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from 25th April, 2026, to print their Examination Invitation Card, which contains their specific date, time, and venue.
Candidates are required to come along with:
- A pen
- NIN Slip (with clear photograph)
- Printed Examination Invitation Card
- White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas Adepoju , reiterates that the recruitment process is free of charge and warned applicants against making any payment to any individual or groups.
