The Rivers State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Mr Moses Oleghe, has charged the 2025 Batch C corps members deployed to the State to use their head and hands to create wealth, rather than wait hopelessly for white-collar jobs at the end of their service.

Oleghe gave the charge during the closing ceremony of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development SAED in-camp training for the orientation exercise.

He urged the corps members to be focused, committed, dedicated, and passionate in building on the knowledge acquired in the in-camp training during the post-camp.

Oleghe assured the them of the availability of funding partners such as the Central Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Industry, Bank of Agriculture, amongst others, who he said are ready to provide with interest-free start-up capital.

Also speaking, the state’s SAED officer, Mrs. Caroline Chukwu hailed the corps members enthusiasm and high spirits to acquire a skill during training.

She also commended the state coordinator and camp officials for their support to the SAED committee.

At the end of the inter-platoon SAED competition, platoon one won the overall best, and they were rewarded with a giant trophy.
