No Ekureku Vote Will Go To Another Person Other Than Egbona *Penultimate Week, Dr Alex Egbona

The Spiritual Head Of Agbo, and clan head of Ekureku Community in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State, HRH Eval Kpogo Bernard Adaka Egbe has said that all votes from the two wards of Ekureku will only go to Dr Alex Egbona, the APC candidate for the Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency seat.
He said this when he received the lawmaker in his palace, as part of his campaign drive in the federal constituency. He said Egbona had done so well for his people, hence the agreement in the community, that no vote should drop for any other candidate.
According to him, virtually all the infrastructural projects in the area were attracted by the lawmaker, not just because he was from Ekureku, but largely because he was not a greedy person who would have thought only of himself.
He said projects attracted to Abi/Yakurr were spread everywhere, while the various training programmes also touched everybody from all the wards. He described him as a good man that deserved to be re-elected.
He said: “If you take one palm fruit and roast it, either to eat it, will you allow it to get lost? You can never allow it to get lost no matter how difficult the fire is. Hon. Alex Egbona is our one and only palm fruit, he will ever be in that fire no matter how hot and we will bring it out in Jesus name.
“He is there and we will ever give him all the support. We know the fight has been a tough fight and the tougher the fight, the merrier the celebrations.
“Hon. Alex Egbona since he is a good fighter, victory will ever be in his name. In Ekureku, we believe only in APC, we don’t have any other party. Other parties are imitation parties, all the senators here have a level playing ground here, anytime.
“All those who have come in the name of APC, in other levels, house of Assembly, Senate, presidency will all be successful.”
He also denied insinuations that some APC chieftains had visited him before now and had given him N2m. “Let me say here and now, that the APC came here the other time and Ekureku people were here telling me that I collected N2 million and that it is with me. Please it is not with me oh.”
