Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area chapter, Mr. Chimenem Bobo Worlu, has lambasted the state chairman, Mr. Chijioke Ihunwo, over dissolution of the LGA executives.
Worlu in a release made available to TNN, on Thursday, said Ihunwo should stop parading himself and deceiving the general public, alleging that the said dissolution was fake.

Recall that shortly after the NYCN National Chairman, Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, announced the dissolution of Ihunwo’s led state executive over expiration of tenure, Ihunwo on Wednesday, announced the dissolution of the youth leaders of Obio/Akpor chapter.
Ihunwo also appointed caretaker executives with Mr. Prince Bekwele Wopara as the coordinator, Fredrick Ihuigwe-deputy coordinator, Ndubuisi Ikakini-secretary, with four others.

Angered by this development, Worlu in a release titled: “Dissolution and Appointment of New Executive of National Youth Council Of Nigeria Obio/Akpor Chapter All Fake!” urged Ihunwo to stop misinforming the general public with what he described as fake news.
The LGA chair charged the state chairman to desist from allegedly dragging the name of Obio/Akpor youths to his political drama.

Describing Ihunwo as a self-acclaimed NYCN state chairman, Worlu said, “I wonder why most people derive joy in misinforming the general public with fake news.
“The last time I checked, the tenure of Mr. Chijioke Ihunwo, the self-acclaimed Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Rivers State chapter has elapsed yet he will not stop parading himself and deceiving the general public to seek attention.
“Before the President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, came up on air to dissolve the Chijioke Ihunwo led State Executive owing to the expiration of their tenure, Rivers youth has asked him to vacate the office of the Chairman.”
He charged the people of the LGA and the general public to, “disregard any information coming from this power-hungry Ihunwo and his data boy, Amadi Eze because he doesn’t have the power to appoint or dissolve anybody in Obio/Akpor LGA.
“Someone who lacks character and a prime suspect in the arson of the Rivers State of House of Assembly Complex.
“The youths of Obio/Akpor can’t be a party to this madness from a person that doesn’t have conscience and respect for human lives.
“Because of his greed and personal interest he led innocent Rivers youths to the official residence of the Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule to pull down his gate and in the process they lost their lives.
“Ihunwo we have tolerated enough of your nonsense and this is coming as a warning to you to desist forthwith.”
Worlu further appealed to, “the amiable Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Hon. Barr. George T. Ariolu DSSRS and the working Supervisor for Youth and Sports Obio/Akpor LGA, Hon. Newman Ogbonda not to give this miscreant any space in the LGA.

“I charge all the various community Youth Presidents of Obio/Akpor LGA to be vigilant and resist this noisemaker in every possible way. A word they say is enough for the wise, this will be the last time you will drag the name of Obio/Akpor youths to your political drama.”
