Alleged killers of 50-year old Mr. Odeinyefa Ogbolosingha, who is an in-law to the state governor, Senator Douye Diri, have been arrested by the operatives of the Bayelsa State police command.
Ogbolosingha and two others; the Paramount Ruler of the Kalaba Community and Chairman of the Community Development Committee CDC, HRH Kolibo Francis Amabelimo and Samuel Oburo, were murdered in 2022.

According to the state police command, the victims who are natives of Kalaba Community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state, were allegedly killed by three persons
The police released the names of the three suspects to be, 32 years old Gideon Atama, 49 years old Bethlehem Nwanlia and 33 years old Clever Ovo.
The state Commissioner of Police, Francis Idu, confirmed that while one of the suspects identified as Perekebi Nwanlia is deceased, Gideon Atama and Bethlehem Nwalia were still at large.
Idu however confirmed that “one of the suspects, Clever Ovo, who is in our custody, has confessed that they were members of the notorious Endurance Amagbein Gang.
“The leader of the gang, Endurance Amagbein has since been declared wanted by the Nigerian Army over the alleged killing of 16 soldiers at Okwuamam community in Ughelli South in Delta State sometimes in the year 2024.
“Another member of the gang, Gideon Atama, was arrested with a mobile phone and putting on a army camouflage uniform well kitted like a soldier, upon a close check on the phone, pictures of assorted riffles and voice notes of their previous operations were unraveled. They also went further to mention sponsors in the vandalization of installations and facilities in the region.”
