Elections Are Over, We Must Let Go -Rivers NRM Candidate

The Rivers State House of Assembly Candidate of the National Rescue Movement NRM, for Eleme Constituency, in the just concluded 2023 elections, Hon. Olaka O. Olaka has sent a message to the people of his constituency.
While some opposition party continues to state their disapproval of the outcome of the elections, insisting for a cancellation and re-run, Olaka is telling the people of Eleme that, “elections are over and we must let go and move on while working towards a better future.”
According to him, “Indeed, this is the time to show my appreciation after the 2023 general elections to all who participated directly or indirectly in making history with me during this phase of my political journey.
“Yes, I have been following from behind but my recent appearance in the political space came with mix reaction from different people as some thought I was only coming as a place holder with the intention to step down half way for another but they imagined in vain.

“To others, a “David” has come to liberate and rescue the people of my Constituency Eleme from bondage, oppression and misrepresentation.
Alas! their expectations has been dashed. The enemies of our land in collaboration with security agents Nigerian police and the supposed electoral umpire, INEC Nigeria INEC Rivers due to greed and selfishness including those who sold their votes for peanut of 2k, 3k, 5k and vain promises not minding the negative impact on our future.”
Olaka continued that, “Against all odds, the Almighty God crossed my part with a true son of the Niger Delta, Hon. Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich – Egberipapa whose mentorship led me into confronting my fears and stepping into the ring of electoral contest. Thank you for creating the platform on which I was found worthy to become the flag bearer and a candidate for Rivers State House of Assembly, Eleme state Constituency.
“With a grateful heart, I on behalf of myself and family sincerely appreciate in no particular order the leadership of my party National Rescue Movement NRM Rivers State, NRM Eleme LGA, Team Eleme First, Genuine clergy, Christians believers, Muslims faithfuls, members of my campaign council, my Director General, Safety Chua Awala Abbey , my Media Team, Publicity Director May Prime , SA on Media Yiedam Greatman , Non-indigenes leaders Nwadi Ogbuka Nelson Michael Joseph Iwundu , Ward Chairmen, women leaders, unit coordinators Godwin Edet, party agents, security unit, Chiefs, Stakeholders etc.
“To those who did not believe in me, haters and betrayers, thanks for teaching me the coping strategies on how to deal with your kind. thanks for making me identify those who truly appreciate me, thank you for making me believe in myself and pushing to the top. As for my friends who deceived me with fake promises and actions, thank you for giving me the opportunity to discover the real enemies among those I called friends.
“Let me specially thank all my genuine followers and unknown supporters across party line within and outside my Constituency for believing and supporting me in no small measure and for choosing to vote for me over the imposed candidate but rejecting all forms of financial inducement brought to you. I say congratulations to all of us for fighting to the end because a statement has been made in Eleme and Rivers State at large, I sincerely appreciate you all.
