Report reaching TNN is that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Coordinator for Ahoada-West Local Council of Rivers State, Mr. Chisom Lennard, is dead.
Lennard who is also the Ward 10 Leader of APC in the area, was allegedly shot dead while trying to prevent suspected hoodlums from hijacking election materials earlier yesterday, during the Governorship and State House of Assembly Elections.
It is believed that the suspects were dressed in Police camouflage during the alleged operation.
Lennard hails from Ubeta community in Ahoada West LGA of Rivers State.

This incident has not been confirmed by the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, as she is yet to respond to calls and text sent to her as at the time of filing this report.
