Some polling units in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections in Rivers State, witnessed massive turnout of women.

Speaking in an interview, an electorate in unit 5, Ward 12, Mrs. Priscilla Kalagbor said, “yes, wetin make I come out, I want all these nonsense to stop, I want change, I want to vote the candidate of my choice that I believe will change this state.”
Reacting to the assertion that INEC did not deliver a credible, free and fair process in the presidential and national assembly election of February 25, Mrs. Kalagbor said, “yes I feel the same way, I feel the same way but there is a saying that if you try and don’t succeed you try again, I want to try again, I condemned what happened on 25th but I want to try again. He said if I persevere or if we preserve we will conquer, yes, that is why I come, I believe in perseverance and that is why I am here today and I believe we will conquer.”
