Bayelsa Command Fixes Date For Police Recruitment Examination

‎The Bayelsa State Police Command has notified all indigenes of the State who applied for enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force that the written examination for applicants seeking recruitment as Police Constables will hold from 28th to 30th April, 2026.

‎A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Musa Mohammed says the examination will be conducted at Bishop Dimieari Grammar School (BDGS), Yenagoa, the designated centre for the exercise.



‎the police image maker says all applicants are required to log on to www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday, 24th April, 2026, to check for their names and print out their Examination Invitation Card, which contains their specific date, time, and venue.

“‎Applicants are required to come along with the following items on the examination day: ‎(a) pen, (b) National Identification Number (NIN), slip from NIMC with a clear photograph, ‎(c) Printed Examination Invitation Card, ‎(d) Dress code: White shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas.



‎”The Command reiterates that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and warns that any form of racketeering, fraud, or financial inducement will be met with the full weight of the law.

‎”The Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, CP Iyamah Daniel Edebor, psc, IICFIP, foosi, urges all qualified applicants to disregard anyone demanding money or promising assistance in the recruitment process.

“He advise applicants to deal only with the official portal and approved channels of communication.

“‎The Commissioner of Police further warns fraudsters and impostors to stay clear of the examination exercise, stressing that the Command will not hesitate to arrest and prosecute anyone found exploiting members of the public
