Members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Rivers State chapter has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Gina Daka at her residence in Port Harcourt.

Chairperson of the association, Mrs Susan Serekana Nwikinah who led the team described the deceased as a pioneer member of NAWOJ. She stated that late Gina Daka contributed immensely to the growth of the association in the state and the country at large.
The NAWOJ boss prayed God to strengthen both the family and the association and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Nephew to the decease, Mr. Christian Osika thanked the Chairperson and her members for identifying with them at the time of their grief. He disclosed that late Gina will be laid to rest on March 20, 2021.
A token was later handed over to the family as a welfare package from the Association.
Until her demise, Mrs. Gina Daka was a staff of Radio Nigeria, 98.5 Treasure FM Port Harcourt.
