NYCN Applauds Buhari, Wike For Effective Leadership

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN has applauded the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for their pragmatic leadership styles.

In a communiqué disclosed to TNN at the end of council’s National Executive Council, NEC meetings held in Rivers State, President of the NYCN, Ambassador Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo said the commendation letter to the president is to appreciate his giant stride in the areas of Economy, Agricultural Revolution, Infrastructure and Youth Development.

He further charged the Federal Government to do more in the area of security. He noted that security of lives and property of Nigerians and those residing in the country is key for development.

Similarly, he added that the Rivers State Government led by Barrister Nyesom Wike be sent a credence letter in appreciation of his lofty commitment to projects that are more beneficial to the people of the State.

The Council also resolved that Non-Elective Congress should hold before the end of the first quarter of 2021 in any of the states of Adamawa, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia, Delta and Benue. It mandated that Rivers State Elective Congress should hold within the next fifteen days while that of Borno, Kano, Imo, Yobe, Bauchi, Benue should hold before the end of the first quarter of the year.

It was also resolved on the need for a harmonized leadership in Taraba, Adamawa, Ondo, Gombe and Ekiti States before the end of the first quarter of 2021.
