Signals emerged on Sunday, that the Akwa Ibom State government may be fully involved in the burial of the late founder of the Rapture Trust Ministries, Arch Bishop Moswill Umoh, who died some months ago.
Umoh, an educationist, tele-evangelist and one of the fathers of faith who stood firm for the election project of the governor, is to be buried in September. The governor, believed to be a bosom friend of the late arch bishop, decided to worship at the Nigerian headquarters of the church in Ukanafun on Sunday.
He was accompanied to the church service by some members of his executive council and party leaders, including stakeholders from the local government, he used the opportunity to condole with the widow, Mrs Apple Moswill Umoh.
It was not immediately clear how far the government will be involved in the burial, but TNN learnt that the government plans to honour him for his consistency and contribution to the development of the state.
