A former chairman of the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr. Solomon Abel Eke, has assured the state governor, Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara, of the support of the people of the LGA.
Eke who gave this assurance in Port Harcourt, on Thursday, at a press briefing, shortly after the leaders of the LGA presented a communique, said that nobody would stop the governor from completing his tenure.
He insisted that the people of Obio/Akpor were not greedy nor wicked, but law abiding and have resolved that Fubara would complete his term.
The immediate past LGA boss emphasized that the lawmakers who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, to the All Progressives Congress APC, were now former house of assembly members.
