Egbona Hails Otu, Says renaissance underway in C’River
Re-elected member of the House of Representatives from Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Dr Alex Egbona has congratulated Prince Bassey Otu on his election as governor of Cross River State.
Egbona said in a congratulatory message to Otu on Monday, that with his election, he was sure of a renaissance in the state.
The letter reads in part: “This is to congratulate and rejoice with you on your victory at the just concluded gubernatorial contest, having been declared winner of the election.
“Your emergence is a clear indication that tenacity and resilience can yield fruits. I have always known that you have good plans and vision for our state and I trust that with this victory, you will do well for our people. I am very confident that you will re-invent and midwife an era of renaissance in Cross River.
“As I rejoice with you, I pray that God should give you the needed wisdom, courage and strength to start well and finish strong, to the glory of God and for the benefit of the people of our state.”
