Owner of a guest house, a cleaner and one other person, has been arrested and taken into custody following the mysterious death of a 40-year-old man whose name was given simply as Mr Felix.
Felix, a native of Cross River State was found lifeless in a guest house along Azikoro Road in the Ekeki area of Yenogoa, in Bayelsa State.
While some eyewitnesses alleged that his death followed a sexual encounter, the woman who was reportedly with him has yet to be found.
Felix was discovered in the early hours of Wednesday, unclothed inside a room after a cleaner alerted authorities.
The deceased was a mobile phone repairer whose shop was located at the Seriake Dickson Shopping Complex.
As at the time of filing this report, the Police was yet to establish his exact cause of death but gave the assurance that efforts were ongoing to identify and locate the woman who was reportedly with the deceased before the incident.
Residents have expressed shock over the development, as some urged the public to avoid risky lifestyle choices as investigations continue.
