The governors of Bayelsa, Delta and Ebonyi states have paid their last respect to the late former Military Administrator (MILAD) of Ebonyi and Delta states, Captain Walter Feghabo Amain who was buried at the weekend at his Nembe home town in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa state.
At the funeral service held in honour of the former administrator at the King Koko Square, Ogbolomabiri, Nembe, the governors described the deceased as a patriot who made positive impacts to humanity in his lifetime.
The governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri, who was represented by his Deputy, Peter Akpe, recounted that Feghabo brought honour to Bayelsa and Nigeria through his impactful leadership and left legacies worthy of emulation.
He recalled that after his retirement from the military, Feghabo continued service to his home state as chairman, projects monitoring committee as well as an alternate chairman of Nembe council of chiefs.
Diri thanked the governors of Ebonyi and Delta states for honouring the deceased.
The governor of Ebonyi state, Francis Nwifuru represented by his deputy, Patricia Obola, described the late MILAD as a disciplinarian who layed a solid foundation for the development of Ebonyi state.
Also speaking, the governor of Delta state, Sheriff Oborevwori who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Johnson Eric Joe noted that Feghabo brought stability to the state and set the tone for a smooth transition from military to civilian rule.
