Who Killed This Man In Eneka?

It was indeed a black Saturday in Eneka Community of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, following the killing of Mr Fidelis Ezekiel. It is not exactly clear if he was killed in his car. He was shot dead by unidentified gunmen.
This is happening barely two months after 35 year old security officer, Mr Ahaoma Reuben Chigbundu, attached to the Eneka security outfit, who was buried 23rd of last Month was found dead at his supposed duty post.
The Chief Security Officer of the Eneka Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State,Oscar C. Wali has described the inhuman act as very unfortunate.
According to him, “we received a call regarding the incident, by the time we arrived at the scene, the man was already dead.
“We do not know what warranted such a devilish inhuman act, all we are saying is that nothing, indeed nothing is worth taking anyone’s life.
“We strongly discourage such barbaric act, we are doing our very best to curb the community of every form of insecurity, crime, everything that threatens the peace of the residents of Eneka, it is very sad for a community such as ours to be reckoned with such ugly incidents.
“The Eneka police division has been up and doing, they have been very effective, leading this fight to curb crime in this community.
“I wouldn’t want to say much but permit me to send our condolence to the family of the victim, if it was possible, we hope it was averted, please accept our accept condolence. Also, to the Eneka Police Division, we appreciate their doggedness and pray they get to the root of this.”
