Tinubu’s Choice Of Ettah As NYSC Board Chair Commendable, Says Egbona

The House of Representatives member from Abi/Yakurr Federal constituency of Cross River State, Dr Alex Egbona has expressed excitement over the appointment of Ntufam Hilliard Ettah as chairman of the governing board of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

In a statement on Friday, Egbona thanked the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering competence and capacity in the choice of Ettah, while also congratulating the new board chairman whom he described as a very loyal party man, a dependable ally and a down to earth administrator.
Ettah was once the south-south chairman of the APC and is from Cross River State. He has been one of the pillars of the party at the state and national levels.
Egbona who said his appointment was well deserved and timely, noted that “appointments like this will make the people of Cross River State even happier with Mr President. Hilliard Ettah is a dependable ally and his choice as board chairman of the NYSC is very pleasing.
“From his track record, I know that Ettah will deliver on his mandate. He has, in the past, shown that he is very dedicated and committed to whatever assignment he is given. This one will not be an exception. I am particularly grateful to Mr president and I know that more will come.
“I have utmost confidence in Ettah’s capacity and ability to make us proud. I celebrate him on this well- deserved and meritorious appointment. It is truly gratifying.”
Egbona urged other party members who are yet to secure appointment either in the state or at the federal level to be patient and continue to support the governments of Senator Bassey Otu and that of President Tinubu respectively.
He said the appointment of Ettah was an indication that patience pays and noted that “it may take time, but there is always a pay back time. Ettah has been a very faithful party man. Everyone should be patient; we have leaders in the state and in Abuja who are very considerate and do know what is good for everyone.”
