The manager, Security Services of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Mr. Desmond Awumande has commended the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Zone 16 command, Mr. Abubakar Zubairu and his officers and men for adequately policing the NCDMB’s headquarters and its operational areas in Yenagoa and other parts of the Bayelsa State.
Desmond expressed the appreciation when he led a delegation of his security management team on a familiarisation visit to the AIG at the zonal headquarters, Okaka in the State capital.
The new manager thanked and appreciated the AIG and his management team for the warm reception and further sought a sustained mutual cooperation, especially in safeguarding staff and NCDMB facilities.
According to a statement by the zonal Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Gunn Ewhobowho, the visit was centered on strengthening the existing relationship between the NCDMB security team and the Nigeria Police Force.
The AIG, while receiving the delegation, also commended the NCDMB’s security manager for identifying with the Zone and assured them of partnership and collaboration.
High point of the visit was the signing of visitors register.
