Rivers State Sole Administrator, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has revealed that some investors have expressed interest in investing in the state’s Songhai farm.

Ibas made this statement while inspecting the farm in Tai local government area, which had been cleared of overgrown weeds.

He described the current state of the farm as a missed opportunity for the people of Rivers State and announced plans to meet with stakeholders to discuss ways to revitalize the Songhai farm.

The sole administrator stated that President Tinubu had directed him to resuscitate abandoned projects in the state, and the Songhai farm is one of them, emphasizing the importance of reviving the farm to unlock its potential and benefit the people of Rivers State.
