Rivers Royal Father Hails Kumuyi As Deeper Life Holds Crusade, Medical Outreach In Ahoada

The Eze Ekpeye Logbo the 3rd of Ekpeye Land, in Ahoada Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Imperial Majesty, Sir Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo, JP, has commended the Deeper Life Church General Superintendent, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi for hosting a six-day crusade in Ekpeye Land.
The Royal Father also poured encomium on Kumuyi following the free medical checkups, free drugs, hernia, fibroid and eye surgeries, malaria, typhoid treatments, given to natives and residents of Ekpeye Land during the crusade.
Anugwo stated this when he received Kumuyi, his wife-Mrs Esther Kumuyi and their entourage at his palace in Ekpeye Land, Ula-Upata Town, on Thursday.
He described the pastor as a true man of God, sent to bring transformation to his land and people.
The first class Rivers ruler noted that he was overwhelmed that the program was holding in his time. He said “onbehalf of my wife, the Ekpeye Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, we wholeheartedly say you are welcome to the land. I want to tell you that the people of Ekpeye Ethnic Nation are overwhelmed to receive you, it is also a privilege. today you have stepped your feet in the land of Ekpeye Ethnic Nation, it’s a thing of Joy.
“We want to also assure you that we will pertake in the crusade. We have also agreed to support the crusade, we will make a donation to the crusade and also make provisions for something that we could use to feed the masses that will come for the crusade.
“We know that you are an ordained man of God, the same God that used you when you came to Ekpeye Land in the year 2016, and there were transformations, turn arounds, all for good, you have come in my time as Eze Ekpeye Logbo, the 3rd.
“For me, I have the faith, the belief that we are going to receive it more and more of what we received that year, for you have done it in Ekpeye Land, you are going to do more this time for Ekpeye Land. We have so many desires and the Almighty God we believe, the mighty God that we all serve, we know that by the time you finish your crusade there will be transformations in Ekpeye Land.”
His Majesty assured the Pastor that “the Ekpeye Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs synergise with Christians in our locality, we believe in culture, tradition and also believe in God, the Almighty God is the supreme, we don’t play with Christianity, all of us that are here identifies from one church to the other, we don’t have anybody that say no, because I am a traditional ruler I won’t go to church, that’s one good thing about the Ekpeye Ethnic Nation.
“I stand here to assure you that the Ekpeye Ethnic Nation is solidly behind you. I want to also say that we welcome you with all amount of sincerity, with great enthusiasm to ensure that this programme you are holding in Ekpeye Land will be successful. We are going to pertake in this programme.”
“You are received and honoured by Ekpeye people, we pray the God of our land, we pray the Almighty God, which is the supreme God that as you come here Ekpeye will bless you, Ekpeye Land will give you more life, we also bless you, you are our father, you will remain our father. You have been in companion with Ekpeye people so shall it continue and we pray God that the relationship that has been built earlier before now will continue”
One of the beneficiaries of the eye surgery, High Chief Christopher Ekwulu, expressed appreciation to Kumuyi, describing his visit as a blessing to families and the entire land.
“We have been benefitting before, like in 2016 when he came I was part of the crusade, this time around I will also be part of the crusade; me and my family.
“My expectation is God’s Grace to all of us. I happen to be one of the beneficiary for the free medical; eye surgery on 24th, so I am just coming out today, so, by his grace I know I will be healed and it’s my expectation too that through him what God has deposited in him shall be transferred to us and our lives will be transformed.”
Another native, Mrs Fortune Feutus thanked God for Kumuyi’s visit, and expressed the belief that lives will be transformed.
“He has started giving the people free medicals, people are benefiting from the free medical; the hernia, the fibroid, the eye people, they are benefiting, and the people that have fever they are giving them drugs, I want to praise God for that.
“This evening(Thursday September 26) by 5 o’clock the programme will start properly, and then all the people in Ekpeye Land will come to the programme and I believe that the man of God that have chosen to come to this Ekpeye Land will transform every life, all sicknesses will go, all the bad boys will repent, sinners will repent and everyone will be blessed.”
On his part, the Deeper Life Church General Superintendent assured everyone that the crusade will bring tremendous transformation in Ekpeye Land, Rivers State and Nigeria at large.
“I tell you what I know will happen to this kingdom, to Rivers State, to the Nations of the world, what will happen as a result of this peace seeking we are having here, it will be incredible, unbelievable and impossible.
“Families, our nation will be turned around and the nations of the world will feel the impact of what is going to happen from tonight.”
To the youths of Nigeria, Kumuyi besieged them; “I appreciate the courage, the foresight, the vision of our youths and what everybody wants is what the youths testified about and demanded; we need good governance but when we are searching for something, some of us will look forward we won’t get it, we look backward to history we won’t get it, we look sideways to neighbouring countries we don’t get the answer, we have looked forward, looked back, looked sideways we didn’t get what we are looking for, we should look up, the rain will come from above, we are looking up from tonight, that change is about to come.”
He thanked the Eze, traditional rulers, chiefs and people of Ekpeye for the warm reception and urged them to attend the crusade as well as prepare for Christ coming.
With the theme; ‘The Wonders of God’s Grace’, the Global Crusade with Kumuyi, GCK, will run from Thursday, September 26 to October 1, 2024, at the Western Ahoada County High School.
