Rivers Resident Still Missing 22 Hours After Alleged Abduction by Men in Police Uniform

A resident of 29 Obuagu street, Mile 3 Diobu in Rivers State, whose name was given as Ibrahim Isah, has been missing for over 22 hours after his alleged abduction by men on Police uniform.

Isah’s family revealed this during an interview with newsmen on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.

They raised the alarm over his whereabout, more than 22 hours after his said abduction at Wobu Street, Ikwerre Road Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt on Monday.

Younger sister of the missing young man, Ramat Isah, explained that “yesterday, we dey surprised, around 3:00, somebody come give us information say em dey for Ikwerre road see where them put our brother, Ibrahim Isah for inside motor, say the people wear Police uniform.

“Since that time, from that 3 o’clock we begin try em number, em number dey switched off till this moment now we never hear anything about am, so we dey surprised.

“We dey beg the Commissioner of Police make em help us to radio people make we know.”

Ramat noted that, “We don go Octopus Strike Force(C4i), Ce for eye, them say nobody like that, somebody help us inside the cell, check, check them say nobody, even UST(Mile 3 Police station) them check, them say nobody like that.

“Em name na Ibrahim Isah, my name na Ramat Isah, I be em younger sister, I dey stay for 29 Oguagu street, Mile 3 Diobu, Port Harcourt.”

As at the time of filling this report, the Rivers State Police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, was yet to confirm the incident but promised to get back to our correspondent.
