At the War Against Drug Abuse WADA rally, the 2025 Batch C Corps Members posted to Rivers State, has been urged to reject all pressure to engage in drug abuse.

This charge was given during the weekend at the orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai, where the corps members were charged to resist all forms of influences that will push them into doing drugs.

The rally marked the climax of the 3-day sensitization of the corps members on the dangers and consequences of drug abuse by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency led on camp by Assistant Supretendent of Narcotics, Etukudo Odot.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, warned that drug abuse poses great danger and threat to the lives of its users.

Oleghe who was represented by the Camp Director, Mr. Christian Okereke, further urged the corps members to “reciprocate the good gesture of their parents and loved ones who toiled through thick and thin to train them in school.

“Choose the path of a decent lifestyle that will bring honor and pride to their family.”
