Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointments of Chima Aguma, as Special Assistant, Aviation Matters and Joseph Awuse, Special Assistant, Finance.
This approval was announced on Monday, in a statement made available to TNN by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the governor, Boniface Onyedi.

Others appointed by Fubara includes, Special Assistant, Logistics, Owolabi Ofori, Special Assistant, Project Monitoring, Ogbonda Okocha, Special Assistant, Strategy, Princewill Dike, Special Assistant, Foreign Investment, Igwe Anyanwu.
The governor also approved the appointment of Jerry A. Omotsegunwa as Special Assistant, Electronic Media, Fenibo Fubara Jnr, Special Assistant, ICT, Mr. Sonye Maxwell, Special Assistant, Students Affairs.

Also, Fubara appointed four persons as Special Assistant, Social/New Media, they are, Bernard Odike, Princess Dorathy Osaronu, Seigha Adedeji, Marshall Obuzor.
Linda Owutubo was appointed Special Assistant, Gender, Norisia Wilfred Pepple, Special Assistant, Youth and Sports, while Amb. Harold Koko was appointed Chief of Protocol.
