John ODHE, Yenagoa

Two female students of the Bayelsa State owned Niger Delta University (NDU), Amassoma, have reportedly lost their private parts after they allegedly slept with a certain man who took the duo out on the same day.
TNN gathered that the two female students (names withheld) had been in the act of going out with different men outside the school campus without the knowledge of their parents.
We learnt that on that fateful day, the duo were taken for an outing by a certain man who drove to the university campus to pick them from their hostel in the evening.
It was further revealed that when they returned the following morning, both of them were happy and confided in one of their friends that their outing was hugely successful as their client blessed each of them with N200,000.
Little did they know that they were going to pay dearly for the Greek Gift they had received from their client.
A few minutes later, TNN gathered, the two girls simultaneously raised the alarm, complaining to their close friends that their private parts had been ravaged by maggots.
A female student close to the two victims told TNN on the condition of anonymity that both parents of the girls have secretly taken them to an unknown faith-based centre where they are currently receiving spiritual treatment.
The student said “their parents don’t want anybody to know about what has happened to their parents maybe because of the shameful nature of the incidence.
“One of them is my close friend. She warned me not to reveal her identity and I wouldn’t want to betray that trust.
“Their parents have come to take them to a pastor in Yenagoa. According to what my friend’s parent said, the man must have used their private parts for money ritual and that the best solution would be by prayers.

“I want to use this opportunity to advise my fellow students, especially my female counterparts, to face their studies instead of running after men for the sake of money to buy expensive wears because ritualists are everywhere.
“My friend told me that each of them got N200,000 from the man who took them out. Can that money buy human lives? I pray that they recover quickly and come back to face their studies.”
In a related development, TNN learnt that the body of a young boy who went with his mates to search for snails at Amassoma was found with his head dismembered.
Amassoma is a community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area that hosts the Bayelsa state owned Niger Delta university.
A source told our correspondent that the ugly incidence which took place last week elicited tension in the community with many people describing it as ritual killing.
The source said the young boy accompanied some of his mates to the nearby bushes in search of snails around 8:00pm but did not return home till the following morning when his body was found without his head.
It could also be recalled that last week, a male student of NDU suspected to be a cultist was gunned down in broad daylight by suspected members of a rival cult group at the school campus.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Bayelsa state Police Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat who confirmed the incidence said investigations were ongoing to bring the perpetrators to book.
