Pray For Leaders, Fubara Charges Muslims On Eid-el-Kabir

Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged Muslims to use the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir to pray for leaders and the positive transformation of the country, Nigeria.
Fubara gave this charge while felicitating with the Muslim faithful in the state and across the country on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The governor expressed hope that the prayers and sacrifices that come from this year’s Eid-ei-Kabir will culminate in enhancing peace, unity and the advancement of the nation.
He said, “in the spirit of this special day, I urge all Muslims and indeed all Nigerians to reflect on the rare virtues of obedience, sacrifice and faith as exemplified by the Holy Prophet”.

Fubara further urged all Nigerians to imbibe the obligational character of sacrifice for the growth and development of the country, noting that the nation is passing through a phase of recovery that will result in the well-being and prosperity of all.
