A Lagos based prophet, Ekong Ituen, has warned the Cross River State governor, Senator Bassey Otu to pay more attention to his health, even as the governor fights a fierce battle for his re-election.
It is believed that Otu travels abroad very regularly on medical grounds, a suspicion that is said to be taking a toll on the finances of the state government.
While Otu is an apostle, his wife, Eyoanwan, is a bishop in a church they jointly run in Calabar. But Ituen said in a prophecy hr released on Monday, that it has become necessary for the governor to take care of his health.
Apart from his health issue, the prophet also warned of looming political betrayals. The betrayals may be a direct consequence of his handling of certain decisions regarding choices of candidates for the 2027 elections.
“He needs to take care of his health as I am not comfortable with his health status as reflected in my revelation. He needs divine intervention to avert complications and political betrayals awaiting him,” Ituen said.
