The Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta MOSIEND, has expressed satisfaction over the performance of the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC.
The pan Niger Delta group also described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance in less than a year as impressive.
According to the Vice President of MOSIEND World Wide, High Chief Thompson Fouye, “in view of the visionary leadership displayed by Dr. Sam Ogbuku and the NDDC Board, the people of the Niger Delta will give their massive support to President Tinubu come 2027.”
Fouye who applauded Tinubu for appointing the board to pilot the affairs of the Commission noted that “the commission’s performance is a launch pad for President Bola Ahmad Tinubu re-election in 2027.”
Insisting that there would be no vacancy in Aso Rock in the 2027 election, the vice president of the foremost Niger Delta mass mobilization organization, stated that the appointment of the NDDC board, “suggests to MOSIEND that Mr. President understands the challenges and setbacks that has bedeviled the accelerated development of the region
“I am convinced that with the coordinated and calculated steps of the present Board, that within a four-year time frame, there will be massive improvement of lives in the Niger Delta.
“We call on all stakeholders to give massive support to the NDDC commission led by Dr Sam Ogbuku. We also warn naysayers and unrepentant detractors to desist from their campaign of calumny, knowing that their unpatriotic actions where inimical to the people of the Niger Delta.
“We thank President Tinubu for the appointment of the Board and urge him to hold this team dear to his heart and give them all necessary support to put the Niger Delta on the fast lane of development.”
Fouye further assured that “our yearnings to get a better Niger Delta is coming to fruition through the visionary leadership of Dr. Sam Ogbuku, Managing Director, NDDC.”
