Make Something Positive Out Of A Bad Situation

“The difference between those who crumble under the weight of the world and those who persevere, is an enduring hope, faith, and resilience to make the most out of the worst of situations,” so declared a source. According to Amit Ray, “In every crisis, doubt or confusion, take the higher path — the path of compassion, courage, understanding and love.” Let’s reflect on making something good out of a bad situation.

Do you know that one of the ways of getting the best from life is to find the positive aspects or lessons in a difficult experience and use them to improve your outlook or future actions? As much as you may wish for the best always, the reality about life is that many times, you will find yourself in situations where what you get is what you never wished for, the evil you feared most may “come upon you,” you no longer need to pray “lead me not into temptation” but “deliver me from evil,” etc. At such times, how you handle the situation may determine whether you move forward, are stuck, or move backwards. Your mindset and actions may determine whether your disappointment will lead to an appointment, a desired anointing, or a real disaster. What outcome you get may not be dependent on the event or situation but on how you handle the event or situation. The implication is that you can utilize a bad story as the pathway to your glory.

So, enhance your capacity to make something good out of any bad situation. Train yourself to reframe potential or real bad situations or events into something desirable. Try to focus on what you can control and reject the temptation to be lost weeping over what is out of your control. Put on your learning cap and explore ways to deduce lessons from the experience. Consciously try to find a silver lining – see how to make lemonade out of the lemon life places on your way. Know that while a bad situation typically comes with pains and discomfort, you can exploit the pains and discomfort to your advantage. Listen to a source: “Remember that pain has something to offer. Don’t spend your life afraid of pain, but instead use it as motivation to make a change and alter the course of your life.”

As you step out, a source advised: “If things aren’t going well, don’t neglect and avoid the problem. Decide how to deal with it most effectively and take action. Denying that something is wrong may be a defence mechanism to feel better emotionally, but there will be no resolution from this approach.” Irrespective of how you feel when the undesirable occurs, always remember that life will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.
