The Dean Students Affairs, Federal University Otuoke, Prof. Juliet Bodise-ere Teibowei has on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Promise Mebine and Management inaugurated the 8th Students Union Government with Tareware Rex as President.
Performing the inauguration ceremony of the 8th Crocodile SUG of the University at the Seth Accra Jaja School of Postgraduate Studies on the West Campus on Thursday, Teibowei commended the students for their resilience, tolerance and keeping the academic fire burning.
The professor of guidance and counselling stated that the Inauguration marked the beginning of the 8th ‘crocodile’ SUG tenure.
She thanked the students for their cooperation and supporting her office which had ensured harmony between students and management of the university.
Teibowei charged the students to be of good conduct and take their studies seriously, and presented certificates of return to the newly Inaugurated executive members.
Others inaugurated include: Chukwuji Winifred Ebube, vice president, Timapamomene Daniel, secretary among others.
In his acceptance speech on behalf of the newly sworn in SUG council, the president, Taraware, said life is characterized by times and seasons adding that the 8th crocodile SUG would uphold the tenets and integrity of FUO.
He promised to engage management to deliver on his campaign promises to better the lots of students.

The new SUG president thanked the vice chancellor, dean if students affairs, the Chief Security Officer, Barr. Biobaragha Rosalyn Makalabha, the student Affairs officer for their support and finding time to attend the inauguration ceremony
