Egbona Celebrates C’River Senator On Birthday

A member of the House of Representatives from Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Dr Alex Egbona has described Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong as Cross River’s special gift to the National Assembly, particularly the senate.
Egbona said on Sunday in a statement to mark the birthday of the senator who represents Cross River South Southern Senatorial District in the National Assembly, that Ekpenyong represents the new generation of Nigeria who have the capacity to cause positive change in the country.
He said: “All of us in Cross River State are very proud of you for what you have been doing since you got to the senate. You are an example of what our youths should be-humble, affable, forward looking, visionary and hardworking.
“Since you got into the National Assembly, you have shown capacity and selfless service. You have demonstrated that truly, with our youths, there is a greater and better future for our country. With people like you, our people will certainly be sure of quality service.”
Egbona prayed for Ekpenyong, wishing him many more years of good health, to enable him continue to serve the people of Cross River South and Nigeria as a whole. “God has been kind to you and will continue to be gracious to you in the years ahead.
“My prayer for you, on behalf of the people of Abi/Yakurr, is that that same God do keep you in good health for the task ahead, because Nigeria needs more of your youthful sagacity, intellect and finesse. May the years ahead of you be years of Heaven upon the earth. I wish you a happy birthday, my brother.”
