C’River Pupils Benefit from NGO’s Benevolence

As part of efforts to boost learning and inspire hope, the Feed a Hungry Child with Briana Foundation FAHCWB, has deepened its commitment to child education with the distribution of learning materials to pupils in Cross River State.

No fewer than 100 pupils of Bebuabong Community Primary School, in Obudu, benefitted from the notebooks, reasoning textbooks and socks shared during the outreach which was held on Thursday.

FAHCWB revealed that the donation was part of its ongoing commitment to the community’s children; to inspires ambition, confidence, and Kindness.

According to the foundation, the donation was also to strengthens support for vulnerable children, even as it reaffirmed its commitment to education and child welfare in the state.

Beyond the material support, foundation members spent time with the pupils discussing three core values; ambition, confidence, and kindness, that the organization hopes will stay with them throughout their lives.

The team also met with the school’s management to assess progress made since their last visit and to plan ways to expand their impact in the community moving forward.

Speaking in a statement issued after the outreach, FAHCWB founder, Mr Briana Akpagu, described the visit as part of a larger commitment rather than an isolated effort.

Her words; “For us, this isn’t a one-time gesture. It’s a relationship we’re building, one visit at a time.

“FAHCWB remains dedicated to alleviating the effects of food insecurity, poverty, climate change, and social injustice on women and children and we’re only getting started.”

Akpagu also emphasized the importance of sustained partnership in addressing child welfare. “Every child deserves the chance to learn without hunger holding them back, and every community deserves partners who stay committed beyond a single day.”

She urged members of the public interested in supporting children’s education and wellbeing to reach out and get involved in its ongoing outreach.
