Cleric Blesses Egbona As Re-Election Campaign Kick-Starts

The Return Campaign team for the re-election of Dr Alex Egbona into the House of Representatives received divine blessings from the Hermon City Church, Calabar, on Sunday.
The pastor, Kelechi Chibuzor, who blessed the campaign team also prophesied victory for the lawmaker ahead of the February 25 election.

Praying against any form of accident and happenings that would be inimical to the peace and progress of the campaign train, the pastor declared that no weapon fashioned against Egbona and his team would prosper.
He said God’s hands were on Egbona because during his first term as member of the parliament, he has served and is still serving his people faithfully and sacrificially.
The campaign train makes its first move with a heroic entry into Idomi and later to Nko, Yakurr Local Government Area on Monday, January 16.
On Tuesday, the train will move into Ekori, and then into Assiga on Wednesday and would proceed to Agoi and Mkpani on Thursday and then Ugep on Friday.
The first leg of the campaign in Yakurr ends during the weekend, while the train moves to Abi in February.
