CAN Plans Confab For Youths In Calabar

An assembly of All Christian youths in Calabar is billed to hold on this Friday. It is organized by the youth wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Calabar Municipal Chapter.
The newly elected coordinator of Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria, Calabar Municipal Chapter, Mr. Austin Adah, told TNN that this will be the first time in Calabar that interdenominational churches will be having a gathering of this magnitude.
He said in an interview in Calabar that “it was early this year that we had election and this is the first time elections will be conducted especially in some parts of Cross River State for the youth wing, Christian Association of Nigeria, Calabar chapter and I must say that this is the first time Calabar which is the metropolis of the state has executive elected and I happen to be first coordinator.
“We are the first set of excos and this is the first time we are test running a programme of this nature where we are going to bring the five blocs of Christian Association of Nigeria together.
“My expectation is seeing the unity that we have never seen before. Bringing all Christian youths together is going to serve us a room for evangelism because I know very well that when it comes to the guest speaker, we have selected for this programme in the person of Ambassador Theodore Effiong, he is a man that when he speaks, heaven honours his word and we know that through his words so many persons are going to be convicted.”
