Overwhelmed Sagbama Constituency 3 Representative, Mrs. Ebizi Ndiomu-Brown, has poured encomium on the governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, for approving the Agbere–Abuetor–Osifo–Osekwenike–Asamabiri–Elemebiri Road project.
Ndiomu-Brown described the approval which was ratified at the 176th State Executive Council Meeting, held at Government House, Yenagoa, as Diri’s demonstration of sincerity, responsiveness and a passion for inclusive growth.
She said the governor’s visit to the riverine communities was historic, noting that it was the first time in over 25 years that a sitting governor visited the area, during which Diri assured the people of his administration’s commitment to improving access and development.
According to her, “as the representative of the wonderful people of Sagbama Constituency 3 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, I wish to sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, for the gracious approval of the Agbere–Abuetor–Osifo–Osekwenike–Asamabiri–Elemebiri Road Project, ratified at the 176th State Executive Council Meeting held at Government House, Yenagoa.
“His Excellency, Governor Douye Diri, is truly a silent achiever and a man whose word you can take to the bank. This renewed commitment to our people reflects his deep sense of purpose and his resolve to deliver on promises made.
“I vividly recall the governor’s historic visit to our riverine communities, the first by any sitting governor in over 25 years, during which he assured our people of his administration’s commitment to improving access and development across Constituency 3.
“Following my consistent advocacy and renewed appeals during his ‘Thank You Tour’ to Sagbama Local Government Area after his re-election, the Governor has, once again, demonstrated sincerity, responsiveness, and a passion for inclusive growth.”
Ndiomu-Brown noted that, “the approval of this vital Agbere–Elemebiri Road Project marks a significant milestone for us. It will not only open up our communities but also boost trade, agriculture, and socio-economic activities across the region.
“On behalf of the stakeholders and the entire people of Sagbama Constituency 3, I extend heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to the progress of our dear State.”
The lawmaker prayed that “God Almighty continue to grant Governor Douye Diri divine wisdom, strength, and direction to further advance the welfare and prosperity of Bayelsa State.”
She further reaffirmed her commitment to continue working hand-in-hand with the Diri-led Renewed Prosperity Administration to attract more life-changing projects and opportunities that will uplift the lives of our people.
