While the world mourns the death of the Rev Uma Ukpai, news of the death of another prominent preacher will soon break, says a televangelist, Prophet Joshua Iginla.

On the same day that Iginla gave his prophecy on the death of Ukpa, he had also said that a second patriarch of faith was on his way out of the world.
He said: “In my vision two weeks ago, God said to me to re-echo it. There are two patriarchs of faith: gospel generals, highly remarkable, highly outstanding. They have finished their mission. I am talking about Nigeria — those that have finished their missions.

“God has spoken to one of them to start preparing his bag (that was before Ukpai died on October 6), the other one has not got the signal. God showed me their faces and I saw them kneeling down. I saw the first one kneeling down, and that one was asking for mercy. And the Lord said to me, ‘This one will soon go.’
“He is living on spare time because the person to take over from him is confused, because that person is not even prepared. So that flesh might not go in, that is why God is giving him time to put the house in order before going.”
He did not mention the names of the two patriarchs of faith before news broke on Monday about Ukpai’s death at the age of 80.
But Pastor Enoch Adeboye, in August this year, hinted about the way he would die. While preaching in his church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Adeboye had said “I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness.”
Till now, it is not clear why he made the declaration. Last month, Ukpai, while preaching at the Free Indeed programme, an annual religious crusade organised by Archbishop Emmah Isong’s church in Calabar, had made allusion to death, urging the people not to cry if they lost a loved one.
In fact, he was said to have made an altar call, inviting those who would not cry if they lost someone they loved.
Iginla, in making the prediction, said the two pastors had finished their assignment on earth and were at the departure lounge, waiting for take-off.
“Very soon, it is not an arrow of death, it is not an attack, it is not a demon — it is a home calling. The mission of this great patriarch is over. I am saying it so that no matter how this patriarch goes, you will know that God has called me as a prophet.
“The exit of the patriarch, no matter how it looks like, doesn’t matter — it is destiny. It is written that this person will go. The assignment is over, he knows. Shortly after that, the second one — I saw him kneeling down close to the person.
“And I asked the Lord, ‘Why?’ The Lord said to me, ‘the assignment of the second one is at the last page of his assignment.’ So, God is pushing him at a high speed to finish a carryover course. Yes, there is a bridge that will soon cross the exit of this patriarch.
“I am not talking about a general out of Nigeria — in Nigeria, whether he is young or old, I cannot tell, because I want to leave you confused that way so you don’t attach me to another thing.

“The body of Christ in Nigeria is going to take another dimension for good. There is a cry of the spirits, there is a space, and there are men God is raising up. Nobody can stop them. There is a movement that is a total departure from the past experience. It is the movement of Abba Father, it is a great one.
