Agro Industrialization Summit: Ayade’s Aide Applauds Colleague

Sequel to the one day agro industrialization summit on promoting agricultural value chain to boost economic development, food sufficiency and curb youth restiveness Special Assistant to Cross River State Governor on security, Cyril Omini has commended his colleague for her initiative to contribute to the growth of the youths in the state.

Omini gave the commendation shortly after the Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, officially declared the summit open through His Deputy, Professor Ivara Esu. He said the convener has proven that her appointment by the governor was not by mistake. He called on others to emulate her by looking out for ways to positively impact the society and growth of the state and country at large.

Ayade Re-appoints Adah As COHTECH Provost

“The summit with the theme: Promoting Agricultural Value Chain to boost Economic Development, Food Sufficiency and Curb Restiveness aimed at retraining farmers, re-orientating farmers and exposing prospective farmers to various Agro-Industrialization programmes of His Excellency, the Governor and how they could key in and benefit.

“You have truly infused us with hope by showing us how much potential the Agro sector has for us. Comrade Precious Jabe has not only shown full capacity but has proven to His Excellency, our Principal, that her appointment to the Agricultural sector was well deserve and with this well organized summit by her office further reiterate her commitment, sagacity and passion for Cross River State especially her youth and her unwavering support, loyalty and dedication to Governor Ben Ayade led administration Agro-policies which is worthy of emulation”, Omini averred.

While congratulating her, he called on other appointees to venture into farming and key into the government’s Agro-Industrialization drive which is the mainstay of the Nation’s economy and an alternative source of income generation and a viable tool for decoupling the state from total dependency on federal allocation.
