TNN (Today’s News Now), a multiple awards winning regional newspaper, has again won the prestigious Bayelsa Media Award (BMA) Newspaper of the year 2026.
Our Bayelsa Bureau, Mr. John Odhe, received the award of honour on behalf of the newspaper on Thursday during the 13th edition of the BMA which held at the Emmanuel’s Place in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
Some journalists who congratulated TNN, said they were not surprised, given the feat the organisation has achieved in terms of investigative journalism, consistency and rich media content.
The Bayelsa bureau, who represented Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of TNN, Mr. Ofonime Umanah, commended the organisers of BMA for promoting media excellence and thanked members of the public for voting the newspaper.
It is worthy of note that the TNN has won the BMA honour six times.
