Renowned Nigeria cleric, Prophet Ekong Ituen, has warned Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma, that he would be betrayed if he proceeds with his choice of successor.
Ituen said he foresaw a repeat of the prolonged Wike-Fubara political rift, predicting that a similar conflict would emerge between the governor, Hope Uzodinma and his successor.
The spiritual leader of Christ Deliverance Ministries CDM, urged the governor not to toll the path of the immediate past governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, in making a successor decision.
Ituen urged the governor to seek the face of God before making his decision, noting that the governor’s successor would align with his political enemies.
His words: “Your enemies will betray you. You are about making a mistake.
“Seek the face of God diligently and choose your successor wisely to avoid a replica of Wike and Fubara saga in Rivers State.”
The prophet claimed that, “it has reflected in my revelation that the person you have in mind as your success will align with your political enemies, thus, ending up betraying you.”
He recalled that “I warned former governor, Nyesom Wike that governor Fubara would betray him and the prophecy came to pass.”
