In a bid to enhance nighttime visibility, boost security and support socio-economic activities within the community, Dr Alex Egbona, has commissioned 20 solar-powered street lights recently facilitated to Usumutong.
Excited natives and residents pour encomium on Egbona, assuring him of their support in the forthcoming 2027 elections.
While the woman leader of the community, Akaodor Patient Muzeh, led the opening prayer, leader of the Council ward, Asordor Utre Utre, gave an opening remark and welcomed all present.
Also, the councillor of the council ward, Mr. Seta Urom Bassey, also welcomed the MP and his entourage, appreciated him for his good works in Usumutong and promised to deliver the Council ward to the MP come 2027 general elections.
In his reaction, the MP promised to fix the delpidated boreholes, light up the Port Harcourt. He recounted. He concluded by recounting his doings in Usumutong and promised to facilitate more jobs and execute the assignment given to him by the Paramount ruler.
A community leader, Mr Egon Osim, recounted the MP benevolence in facilitating appointments of Constituents into Federal ministries, thanked the MP for all he’s doing and wished all safe journey back.
This initiative aligns with the MP people-oriented agenda to deliver sustainable development and improve the quality of life for residents. The project has been widely welcomed by the community as a step toward a safer and more connected Usumutong.
