Youth Leader Condemns Robbery Attack In Rivers Community

President -General, Eneka Youth Congress, EYC, Cyprian Noshirinye Nworenwu has condemned the recent robbery attack at a Point Of Sales, POS, business premises along Eneka/Rukpokwu Road, Rivers State.
This is happening less than a month after the president and his executive held a crucial security network meeting with stakeholders in the financial business, POS, operation in the clan.
The unfortunate incident which took place around 5:30pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 left most residents perplexed, as they wondered how hoodlums could have the effrontery to operate in daylight.
Dismayed by the incident which he described as callous, the president who stated this through his official media aide, Victor Dike called on the chief security officer, CSO, of the clan, Mr. Frank Martins to beef up security in the area.
Cyprian who also charged residents to be security conscious and alert, urged the community security team to, “fortify security in synergy with the Eneka Youth Congress to nip these criminal menace on the bud.”
The meeting which was held about three weeks before the Thursday incident was summoned to discuss on the safety and security of all P.O.S businesses in Eneka. You will recall that in recent times this business has suffered set back as a result of countless attacks by hoodlums.
The EYC president general in his speech had condemned the acts of attacks, robbery on P.O.S businesses in the Clan and urged all victims of such to be strong, even as he promised that the youth body, the community central security team and the police will ensure the perpetrators are brought to book.
Cyprian also appealed to all P.O.S operators to apply all necessary safety and security measures to protect their businesses against robbery attacks. Part of these measures he said includes building a barricade with stiff protective metal works.
