Why Nigerians Want Obi As Next President -LP

A governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Akwa Ibom state, Mr. Uduak Udom has asserted that Nigerians are yearning for the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi, because they know he has answers to the nation’s problems.
The gubernatorial standard bearer stated this while inaugurating Labour party’s secretariat in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital.
Udom said: Everybody is yearning for Peter Obi. We know that he has what Nigeria needs. Nigeria needs a man of proven integrity, a man that can deliver, and who else do we have apart from Peter Obi?
“He talks about industrialization, he talks about capacity development. Nigerians need someone that will eradicate poverty and Peter Obi will do that for us. He is not just saying it, he has done it before when he was a governor and we know he will do it again.”
Also speaking, the Bayelsa state chairman of the labour party, Mr. Eneye Zidougha said Nigerians no longer look at political parties but persons of the respective candidates and what they can offer, adding that Peter Obi was a great miracle happening to Nigeria.

The state chairman revealed that the LP in Bayelsa has over seventy support groups working for the victory of all candidates of the party in the 2023 general elections.
Also speaking, the state coordinator, Peter Obi campaign organization, Mr. Morris Alagoa said he and his team were working tirelessly to deliver their presidential candidate whom he said was receiving acceptance from other political parties.

“It is indeed gladdening to hear people calling in every now and then that they belong to other political parties but that they are going to vote for Peter Obi in the presidential election.
“We are working assiduously to ensure that even though we are not going to throw dollars, we will convince the people that they need to sacrifice and release themselves from slavery and if they must do that it means they have to give away something and that is to vote their minds,” he added.
