Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Betta Edu has said that the government is not taking it kindly with anyone who fails to wear their face mask, as offenders will always be arrested and punished.

She told TNN in an interview over the telephone that there was the need for everyone resident in the state to adhere to the mask wearing instructions of the government to avoid the wrath of the law.

“The instruction is, wear your nose mask before going out otherwise you will be arrested for further examinations. And we will use our discretion to know where to keep anyone arrested”.
