“Who will condemn this kind of people oriented subsidy cushioning initiative? it is indeed a welcomed development.”

Mr. Ikechukwu Duru, “It is a welcomed development, that is what government should represent, that is what government was originally created to do, solve problem not compound or create them.

“Sincerely, governor Fubara has done well if truly it will be free as they said. You know how people behave in this country, before you know, they start collecting N50, from there N100. Another thing is how they will handle the vehicles so that it will last.

“It is a very good one, I am delighted and we appreciate the governor for this, even as I want to appeal that it should be monitored so they ensure its smooth running.

Also, the drivers should be well taken care of, this is employment, if they are not paid, they will come up with means to pay themselves, that is my take, thank you.”

Mrs. Abigail Uchenna, a market woman said, “well, I go talk whether em try or em no try when I don enter the bus(laughs). Eh! Because I never see the motor, na hear I hear am.

Mr. Samuel, “Ofcourse, it’s a welcomed development, infact, if the governor continues like this, he will do well like his predecessor, governor Wike or even better. You know, before when we calculate what we spend on transportation monthly and deduct from our salary, you will have a take home, but since this fuel subsidy whole thing, we even spend more on transportation than we earn, so, this is one of the best things any government has ever done.”

Mr. Chisom Emmanuel, “It’s a good one, I commend him for this kind gesture, but, the operators or drivers of these vehicles should be supervised and it should be handed over to very careful drivers so that they don’t destroy it and before you know they park it or abandon it as old properties, please.”
