
The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, Daniel Iyamah Edebor has restated the command’s commitment to partnering sister security agencies to ensure effective fight against crime.
The commissioner stated this while playing host to the management of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Bayelsa State command at his office in Yenagoa, the State capital.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Musa Mohammed, the visit was aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration, enhancing synergy, and promoting effective cooperation among security agencies in the state.
Iyamah appreciated the controller and his management team for the visit and reaffirmed the command’s commitment towards sustaining cordial working relationships with sister security agencies in the collective fight against crime and criminality in the State.
The Controller of the Nigerian correctional service, Okaka correctional centre, Mr. Baranaye Spiff Segun who led the delegation corroborated the commissioner’s statement, adding that such visits strengthen inter-agency synergies.
