Rivers NYSC Hails Fubara Over Facilities Upgrade

The Rivers State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC, Mr Moses Oleghe, has described the governor, Siminalayi Fubara’s support for the scheme as uncommon, unprecedented and massive.

Oleghe stated this when he paid Christmas and New Year homage to Fubara, as revealing in a statement on Thursday by the state NYSC Public Relations Officer, Mr Christian Okereke.

The NYSC boss commended Fubara for reaffirming his commitment to the scheme and his continued support to the welfare and safety of corps members deployed to the state.

Oleghe also hailed the governor for the ongoing renovation and upgrade of the facilities at the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai.

Further, the NYSC coordinator offered prayers for Fubara and the people of the state, assuring them that 2026 would be fruitful, productive, blessed, peaceful and prosperous.

On behalf of the governor, the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of NYSC State Governing Board, Dr. Benibo Anabrabra, who received the NYSC officials commended the coordinator for the visit, describing it as thoughtful and worthy of emulation.

He assured Oleghe, NYSC officials and corps members in the state of the continuous support of the governor and his administration to take the scheme operations in the state to enviable height.
